Name calling is as old as mankind. After all it is not for nothing that the old adage; “whats in a name“?find its relevance. people of history have been called names depending on whose‘s side the caller is. Our spiritual fathers have been called names. Good men have earned numerous names. The white supremacists and ruling elitists in America called Martin Luther Kings a lot of unprintable names. Today he is the father of black emancipation. The US labelled Fidel Castro a terrorist and a communist pig for opposing their policies, so was Che guevara and a host of others. It was of recent that our own Madiba was left off the list by UK and US. Bob Marley and Fela Anikulapo Kuti were called mad people. But they are still being celebrated decades after they exited the stage. I think there is something good about positive madness. Just be focused and do your thing. Your accusers will become your praise worshippers. The late Pa Awo was onced termed a tribalist. He is now referred to as the “best president Nigeria never had“. Focus,resilience and determination are the key ingredients. When you keep doing what you know best, you will be celebrated. Happy weekend.
