Name change on Passport during OPT OPT/CPT Blast Resume to 2500+ employers via bit.ly/18niNwb Hi All, I have the no surname issued in my passport and because of that I am having a lot of delays in everything due to name mismatch. I am on OPT right now and my OPT renewal will be in Feb 2015. I am planning to get my name corrected in passport, I-20, I-94, SSN card by the end of December 2014 and then apply for OPT renewal in Jan 2015 with new documents (passport, I20, I94). 1. Will that be fine or do I have to apply for correction of name on OPT card too and then apply for renewal?? My company will be filing for H1 in apr 2015 and I do not want to take any chance of starting name correction process after OPT renewal.
