*Name of the author and pic of the story is not mention on req* Mine isnt exactly a ghost story as such ( i leave it to the audience of haunted goa to decide if that really was a ghost or not) but its a true incident that actually happened with me. It happened a good 15 years back,i will try to recollect all the things and write the story in detail. Please excuse if i miss out on anything n also some some grammatical mistakes. So lets begin.... :-) I along with one of my friend had gone for the Creations festival at Miramar Panjim. At that time i used stay at Siolim and since neither of us had our own vehicle we had reached Panjim by bus. Me and our friends were enjoying a lot at the Creations and just couldnt seem to have enough of the fun and enjoyment. Since we were having a jolly time, me and my Siolim friend decided to stay late and catch the 8:30pm (9:00pm?? cant remember the exact timing of the bus) Panjim-Siolim Kadamba bus via Calangute.(not sure if the bus is still plying today at this time). So at about 8:15pm i asked one of my friend from Margoa who had come with his two wheeler to drop us at the Panjim bus stand(we rode triple seat to the bus stand on his two wheeler). When we reached the bus stand, we got the news that the Kadamba bus had been cancelled. We waited at the bus stand for about 45 minutes in the hope that at least a bus plying up to Mapusa would come....but there wasnt any bus. So we decided to walk until the bridge and ask for a lift. We kept on waving our hands to each and every vehicle (two wheelers, four wheelers,) and shouting mapusa re mapusa re but not a single vehicle stopped. At last to our luck a private bus came along and stopped to take us. We boarded the empty bus and the person in the bus told us that the bus would go up to Duler. It was already 10:30 pm when we boarded the bus. Since there wasnt much traffic we reached Duler within 20 minutes from Panjim. We got down and without wasting any time started to walk towards Siolim as it was very late. Just as we reached the junction where the road separates to go to Siolim.........one from Marna and the other from Sodiem....a man came along on a motorcycle . We waved asking for a lift and luckily for us he was going to Siolim from the Marna side and also agreed to take both of us. The man was old and looked as if he was slightly drunk. When we reached marna..... where a small road connects to the sodiem road at holy cross high school, we saw a woman at about 100 mts walking in the same direction as we were going i.e towards Siolim, her back facing us. Since some street lights were on i could see that she was wearing a red coloured Kapad (kashen)....( its a way of wearing the dress ...mostly worn by old women n by hindu women during divza at the temple annual zatras). Also she was wearing a white colour blouse. She was walking along the left side of the road. Just as we reached near to her.....she suddenly vanished and re appeared right in the middle of the road making a loud deafening cry and started crying horribly.. Her face was covered by her raugh hairs and she started coming towards our bike.. The way she was approching towards us was so scary that the old man driving the motorcycle applied the brakes and the bike skidded and went in a zig zag manner. I just dont know what happend to that lady, old man took bike and we have hit the woman but it was as if we just passed right through her. We rode in a zig zag manner for about a few metres before the old man finally managed to control the motorcycle. But he didnt stop the bike to check what had happened to the woman. He kept riding. Then he asked us Bhootandki nhu mare ti?? I said Maka kainch khabar na. Tuven polovna?? He replied by saying Jenna tya bailen madin hoodkee marli tenna haven majhe dole dhaple. Haven magir kainch polona.Tu matsho fatlyan palaytha. I said ZB Tu kiten dole dhapoon gadee chalaytha re. I was about to look back when my friend said Sutla re fo**ya......fatlyan polov naka. Tashen palayna. I got scared a bit but i was thinking and was amused that this old man was driving his motorcycle with his eyes closed.............f**k.......and that we didnt meet with a f*****g accident. We reached home safely. Next day there was no news of any woman meeting with an accident. I am still confused even today as to what was that....a real woman or was it a real ghost. What do you guys think?? I hope i have told my story in as detail as possible without missing any part and linking one part with another. Hope admin will post my story. I hope the commentators wont get any flaws to tear away into my story.. :-) :-) keep liking till we post Next story (y)
