Name & shame domestic violence offenders Nick Stevens, current Glenelg coach & former Port centreman was convicted of 12 counts of assault on his former partner in Melbourne today. The Judge said Stevens assaulted his partner on 3 separate occasions & his offending included physical assaults & threatening to kill his partner & her father. Nick Stevens should lose his job. The AFL & SANFL have made a big deal of family values & have a strong policy on domestic violence & it would be a great message to the community if they did NOT turn a blind eye to this conviction. I hope he rehabilitates himself, takes Anger Management counselling & turns his life around. If he then became a strong voice against domestic violence he could do more good than he did harm. I believe everyone deserves a 2nd chance & his profile should be used to show rehabilitation can be achieved ... that is ... IF he can actually control his obviously horrific temper. Ive seen domestic violence & it is often a temper issue. I hope he can
