Nana Akufu Addo talks about the Ivory Coast leader, Alhassan Ouattarra, transforming the Ivory Coast economy under his leadership at the age of 72 years, but what Nana Addo has ignored is that Ouattarra has not encountered political hostilities and industrial strifes after the civil war in his country and, therefore, has free hands to steer the country to prosperity. Mahama, on the other hand, had been forced to waste 8 solid months fighting to justify the legality of his administration in the Supreme Court. Even though he has won the case, the NPP and its allies have determined to make the country ungovernable under his administration by instigating labour strikes, spreading hatred against him, personally, sabotage and parliamentary destructive tactics to stop his government delivering its agenda. Its, no surprise that tranquil Ivory Coast is forging ahead economically under Ouattarra.
