Nancy Update : Nancy had her Occ and PT evals yesterday she did well she was able to dress her self and clean up and even take a shower on a shower seat with some assistance from the therapist. During the PT session she was able to sit up from the table and stand up on her own then she was able to walk about 50 feet with a walker. The one thing she had to say about PT was that she saw a young boy say early teens who was in PT and he was throwing up from the pain. Nancy was concerned about his well being. It amazes me that she is so unegotistical that even though she is suffering she was more concerned about someone elses situation. Today she has Speech from 8/9 am pt from 11/12 and Occ from 2/3 I am glad they are pushing her for one thing she seems to be able to handle it and she needs to be pushed so she can improve enough to come home.
