Nandini Rege got 3.5 year old Honey over to foster her not knowing that she would devote her day and night to heal her broken body. She belonged to a man who tortured her and used to beat her when she barked. In 8 months of being with Nandini she barked only 4 times. IMAGINE! She has also aged prematurely. So, you see, Honey now lives with Nandinis old GSD and very amusing mixed dane. I got her to see Dr. Dave since he is treating my confiscated lab as well. We assembled there today and we also did a skin scraping and stuff. She does not have mange but FUNGUS and skin culture will enable us to know what fungus so we can cure it at the roots. Lets see hope for the best. We surely need more such people in this world, who will keep such a dog that most of us will give up on.
