Nanette has been suffering from an arthritic left shoulder for the past 5 months. She could not lift her shoulder without grimacing in pain. Last Monday, in our FIRESTARTERS class (in another church), I sat near her while her group was having their group discussion. She motioned to me that her shoulder was in pain, hoping that I would pray for her. Instead, I told their group leader to pray for her. (The idea is to activate every believer to move in healing and miracles!) The group prayed for her. And from a scale of 0-10, 10 being the worst pain, and 0 the absence of pain, she started with a 10. The first prayer... and nothing happened. I told them to go for it again. The second, and it was down to 7. The third, and she started to smile. It was down to a manageable 3. But then again, we dont want just manageable. We want total healing! At the fourth try, the pain was ALL GONE! Needless to say, the group was ecstatic! Ordinary believers once again did the extraordinary because we have a GREAT JESUS! Now, they are all pumped up to go and heal the sick! Yay, God!
