Nanotechnology can bring relief to diabetic patients in near future. A technique developed by researchers can help avoid the daily injections of insulin. In this novel method, a group of nano-particles is injected under the skin. The particles remain there and prepare the daily dose of insulin. A small ultrasound device is then used to trigger the release of the dose in blood. The particles themselves have to be injected, but after a gap of many days. So the daily injection is avoided.
