Napoli to table bid for Song? Reports in Italy suggest that Seria A side, Napoli will look to further strengthen their midfield by making a bid for Barcelona midfielder, Alex Song. It is believed that Napoli manager, Rafa Benitez is keen on adding further reinforcement to his midfield and has initially identified Tottenham’s Etienne Capoue as a possible option, however, the former Chelsea manager in believe to have doubt over the Frenchman’s ability to fit into his plans and has opted for Song instead. Song has found it tough in Barca ever since making the switch to the Nou Camp from the Emirate in the summer of 2012. The former Arsenal man has found it difficult to keep a permanent shirt in Barcelona first team often reduced to making cameos from a substitute bench and starting a handful of matches. It was widely reported that Song was unsettled at the Catalan club and was open to a move away from Nou Camp preferably back to Arsenal, however, Gunners boss, Arsene Wenger has ruled out an immediate return to the Emirate for the Cameroonian.
