Narcissism is extreme selfishness and is the lesser end of the psychopath scale. Users and abusers want to be worshiped, they need to feel important and central, and they hate a free spirit. Hyper controllers hate to see you independent and joyous - progressing and moving to achieve your dreams. This dynamic occurs at an individual scale, and also happens with tyrannical governments, who are fearful of exposure, they must vilify healthy independence. Intimacy requires transparency and hat is the very thing you will NEVER ever get from a narcissist, for if you really saw their inner ugly world, youd never respect them or want them, much less worship them. They are victimizers and only play at sympathy towards you in order to gain control, not real relationship or beneficial intimacy. They will say anything, play any role, to get unquestioned dominance and elicit your passive consent. You cannot get reciprocation from a selfish controller like a narcissist or psychopath. They will attempt to shift blame and use guilt/shame to manipulate and continue their stream of lies! They will play the card AS IF they are the benevolent giver and you are the heartless and unappreciative one. Dont feel for this shame abuse, control tactic!
