Narendra Modi has been the most hounded politician of this country and for no fault of his. Did he call the forces late in the day? Possibly yes but he did not abet the crime of communal passions like the CONgress did in 1984 riots, no not riots but genocide by congress led goondas. And why did 2002 riots happened? Can we forget that 59 karsevaks returning from Ayodhya was mercilessly murdered by torching the railway compartment they were traveling by by some mindless Muslim fanatics? Not that the events that followed was justifiable by any account but one needs to understand that it was a spontaneous backlash but definitely condemnable. And the media and some people with limited mental inadequacies keep visiting 2002 as if it was the only riots that took place in independent India. I understand that there have been 11,000 communal riots in the country since independence and most of them under CONgress chief ministers. Has the media the courage to blame them for their ineffectiveness and impotencies for not having taken suitable action in time? Some of these minds are so pathologically inadequate that may be if a typhoon occurs in USA, they will blame Modi and refer to 2002 riots. For heavens sake give him a break and let him come to power to replicate or even go beyond the development that has taken place in his state of Gujarat. We owe this to our consciousness, our conscience, our dreams of a vibrant India, our hopes & aspirations and above all to the common good of the people of this great nation. Let us for heavens sake keep our prejudices, opinions and our infinite wisdoms aside for a while and think India First and all else second. CONgress with its divisive rule for the last 60 years has ruined the vibrancy of the nation and particularly the last 10 years of their rule has demonstrated more than amply as to what their agenda really is and continues to be; loot the country, devastate the resource base, communalise the people, demoralise the public institutions, make the armed forces impotent despite the inherent heroism & courage of the forces, pit people against people, increase the asset value of their kith & kin by thousands of times while in rule, become a mockery of democracy amidst the comity of nations and particularly of the neighboring countries, keep the people of the country deliberately poor & illiterate to derive advantage of vote bank politics and promote narcissistic culture in social & particularly economic fields and this list of their wrong doings is endless where the country is not only taken for granted but taken for a ride. And this is precisely the culture in which all other regional political parties, save one or two exceptions, have flourished in. As to the new entrant in the political arena, less said the better given their antics, stunts and hypocrisy. The choice is clear; pick the best of the rot & lot and give them a chance given their passion for the country, the sheer common sense in prioritizing the needs of the country and above all their declared theme of India first.
