Nasarawa APC Membership Register: sporadic violence erupts as Register Books torn over alleged marginalization of a faction Today was billed for the commencement of membership registration of the great Party, APC in Keffi Local Government. Some group particularly the pro- Ishaq kana factional supporters alleged that there was a conspiracy by a faction to systematically manipulate the exercise through allocating the partys voters cards to members perceived to be loyal to the Ahmad Aboki led-dominant faction. The aggrieved supporters were vividly disenchanted with the formalities and those temporarily appointed to oversee the conduct of the exercise, thereby tearing Register Books at at some polling units to agitate against their damaging marginalization. In my indigenous Unit, a mild controversy had also erupted. The marginalized group also accused the use of photocopied Forms to register prospective voters as a deception as the originals have been harboured to favour their preferre candidates at the forthcoming congressional primary election of the party ahead of 20140 local polls. Has the ideaology of the of being equitable been justified? Those that enjoy supremacy of the infighting, should know that, what accounted for PDPs downfall could lead to APCs as we are in the season of defection.
