Nasarawa Impeachment: Lawmakers lists 16 offences against Al-Makura ---------------------------- The Nasarawa State House of Assembly on Thursday levelled 16 charges bordering on official misconduct against the state governor, Tanko Al-Makura. The legislature had ordered that the governor be served an impeachment notice signed by 20 out of its 24 members on Monday. One of the charges against Mr. Al-Makura includes missing Local Government Joint Account Funds between June 2011 and April 2012 and from January to July 2013.
