Nasarawa North Delegates Endorsed Hon.Philip Aruwa Gyunka. Reply Politics 12/03/2014 A+A-EMAILPRINT Ahead of the December 8 PDP gubernatorial primaries the delegates of the party in northern zone, have accepted and endorsed the member representing Akwanga south Hon.Gyunka as their choice senatorial candidate after an interaction session with the delegates. The chairman of the delegate’s forum in Ovie Ali said their decision was in clear recognition and appreciation of Gyunka leadership qualities which distinguished him among other aspirants in the race. The forum chairman who assured Gyunka of their total solidarity encouraged the senator to be courageous noting that his aspiration is divine. Also in Nasarawa Eggonn where he was given a colourful reception the delegates assured him of their total support noting that they resolved to pitch their tent with GTM-NS because they realized he is in the winning side. While speaking to the delegates Gyunka appealed to them to make Nasarawa North and its future their focus and be properly guided as the elect the party flag bearer . He said he is in the race not as a person from Nasarawa North or Mada but as a true democrat and a Nasarawa indigene. He said his visit is not to joint issues with other aspirants but to solicit their support to ensure his emergence as the PDP candidate and eventually as the next senator for a better and greater Nasarawa North.
