Nashville Pop Music: Music Row has been serving up product after product of Soft Rock disguised as Country music... the formula is horrible. It is essentially bad soft rock. Aerosmith tapped in to this formula back in the late 1980s! So while they push this bad rock n roll as the latest thing on their conspirators Country Music Radio, remember that this is all burned out Aerosmith knock-offs. By todays Nashville standards - Bon Jo vi is country. Journey is country. Air Supply is country. Aerosmith is country. Shit, they have many convinced Florida Georgia Line and Rascal Flatts are country, so why not. Nashville has always resented its Hill Billy past. Theyve been running away from it or making fun of it for so long, that they lost sight of what its really about....Thank goodness that there are plenty of folks out in Nashville making great country music. Folks writing songs for themselves. Folks getting in the van and bringing it to the dance halls and beer joints across this land. I hope it never dies.
