Nasrin Sotoudeh and Peyman Aref Summoned to Court Authorities have summoned activist and human rights defender Peyman Aref to the Tehran Revolutionary Court (presided by Judge Moghiseh) for the morning of November 18th. This trial is related to his defense of the existing charges against him: Gathering & colluding against national security and Propaganda against the regime. Since Arash Sadeghis release from Evin Prison, Peyman has been one of his biggest supporters. Peyman bravely defended Arash against threats and verbal attacks by Iranian authorities, including supporters of the Khatami camp. ------ Lawyer and human rights defender Nasrin Sotoudeh must reportedly appear tomorrow morning at the Disciplinary Court for Lawyers Bar Association Center. They seek to disbar her. Nasrin Sotoudeh is released from Evin Prison, but she is still held captive in a larger prison, Iran. Shes not allowed to work or leave the country. Though Nasrin is under extreme pressure, she recently made sure to morally support Sattar Beheshtis mother and be by her side on the anniversary of her sons death.
