Nat: Mom, Im still hungry. Me: Do you want an apple? Nat: Yes, the whole thing. (Meaning not sliced) (a couple minutes later) Nat: Mom, this apple has weeds in it! Me: (Looking) Babe, those arent weeds. They are seeds. Nat: Ewww, it has seeds. Me: All apples have seeds, hun. I just usually cut them out. Nat: I am not eating an apple with seeds. Me: Okay, well go throw it away. But youre not getting anything else before naptime. (She is currently eating the apple with seeds in front of the TV.) I guess seeds are better than no snack at all.
