Nat Turner on the morning of August 22, 1830 after having clubbed and killed 55 whites Nat started his final march toward Jerusalem, VA. His plan was to seize the military post & national armory post there in the city and start his final move! This move he comteplated whether he lived or died trying was all that mattered because he wanted to symbolically take hold of the closest Jerusalem at his disposal to complete his apocalyptic vision of freeing all negro slaves in the same way Moses did in the Bible!
