Natalee Missing 106 Months 30 May 2005 - 30 March 2014 So many long days and nights have passed without any answers since Natalee went missing. And, all this while her family has had to endure the agony of unknowing. Although we say we share their pain and heartbreak, we can not truly know exactly how this must feel - how it hurts - how it disrupts your days and nights - how it feels to see and hear abuse thrust at you by people you do not know - how it feels to know that someone knows the answers and refuses to come forth. This wonderful family is left for now with only unanswered questions and exceptional grief and must live day to day with uncertainty. This is not the life anyone wants or deserves - no matter who they are. They deserve concern, care, compassion and support - not ridiculed, insulted or called names. And, Natalee deserves exactly the same. She did not ask for this - no one needs to make her something she is not. We have taken on the task of being the voice of Natalee to make sure that she is heard throughout the world - that she is never forgotten - that her voice may never be silenced. We will remain committed to defend her honor and the honor and integrity of her family members and we will do it with dignity and compassion. We must remain hopeful for Natalee as she would do the same for us. Natalee is counting on us. Even though so much time has passed, we remain as dedicated to Natalee as we were at the beginning. We are here for her, we are here for her family, in any way we can and that will not change with the passage of time. Each day that goes by is one day closer to bringing Natalee home.
