Natalya and she had been taking turns checking in on things, but - TopicsExpress

Natalya and she had been taking turns checking in on things, but she hated that she didnt get time to spend with her sister as much any more. She was caught up with her new man and Alexia was caught up with her new powers and her mate. There was just a lot going on, but it didnt make it any easier. Walking into the compound people knelt as she walked by, her power rolling off of her in waves. She had learned quickly that you had to prove you were the baddest dog in the pen or you were going to end up eaten. She had no intentions of being eaten. There was going to be a meeting of the Masters in December, and she was a little nervous about that. News had traveled fast about Phantom being gone, and most everyone knew that Alexia had not been the one to take him out. Natalya was still convinced that he was still around, but that didnt make much sense. Moving into the office she sat down at the desk and looked over the gold embossed formal invitation. Only vampires of course. Not even human servants were aloud to be in attendance. So Alexia couldnt bring Alyssa with her. Maybe her sister would go. Luna had all but dropped off the face of the earth. She had no idea where she had gone off to and had already dispatched a platoon to go and look for her. Her insanity must be getting worse. She wasnt sure she cared. She didnt have time to babysit any more. As sad as it was to say, it was true. Her third sister no longer acted like a sister and it was getting harder and harder to deal with. She felt like the only warm part in her heart any more was Alyssa, well Natalya too even though there was certainly a distance growing between them. That happened from time to time. Feeling as shiver of power run down her spine she turned quickly but nothing was there. Turning back to her work she kept her senses up. Breathing slow and careful she was suddenly struck with a force that she could not see, knocking her out of her chair and sending her sprawling on the floor. She couldnt breathe couldnt think, blood red tears flowed down her face as she clawed at herself trying to make it stop. Then, as quick as it had come it was gone. Men raced into the room trying to save her from the attacker but no one was there. She sat up and growled at them. They had been too slow anyway.* If left up to you to guard me I would be ash by now. Maybe you should be training instead of playing cards in the hallway! *She shooed them away then went to look through the room. She hadnt changed anything really. She had no need to. maybe she should get rid of this place and start up her own compound in her home. No one was there but her and Alyssa anyway. It would make more sense and it would be hers. Righting the chair she went to the window, but she could swear she could hear the whisper of something though she couldnt make out the word.s Something was coming, she just didnt know what.*
