Nate had a cough and runny nose. I put a blend of laurel leaf, peppermint, eucalyptus, melaleuca (tea tree), lemon and ravensara essential oils (the pre-made blend is called BREATHE) on his chest for the cough along with lavender (a natural antihistamine for the runny nose). Less coughing and no more runny nose. Before I would have given him a cough medicine with red food coloring that would have made him hyper. Caring for your kid at home with natural medicine is magical.
