Nathan hadnt changed much, he still wore that same black hat with the same tailor made charcoal colored suit and vest and his flocked coat which hung low enough to cover the two guns he wore on the crafted holster he had made special in Saint Louie. His face showed signs of age but only in the slightest measure and his hair was still as black as night even though he was only a few years younger than myself, but that that grin he gave me, as we chatted , was still as fresh as the first day I ran across him down near the Pecos river were he helped me out of a close encounter with six bandits I was trying to arrest.
