National Chairman, Council of Ulama of Jaamatul Izalatul Bidia Waikamatus Sunnah (JIBWIS) Sheikh Sani Yahya Jingir has said that external forces are responsible for the protracted security challenges in northern part of Nigeria. “There are some external forces somewhere whose sole aim is to destabilize our country and they are using some bad politicians and clerics who influence some bad men and women to perpetrate the persistent crises in some parts of the country,” Jingir said. He stated this yesterday in Jos at the opening ceremony of JIBWIS Annual National Seminar, adding that because of greed, some religious and political leaders in the country have allowed themselves to be used as agents of destruction by some satanic disgruntled elements from outside the country. Jingir said, “Nigerians love one another as it was part of our entire cultural heritage. “We have unity, we share same schools, hospitals, markets, and we have been living peacefully despite our diversities. “This violence is a creation of our enemies who want to divide us, which we must all unite and fight against. “JIBWIS is meant to preach the gospel of love, peace, patience and Islamic knowledge as well as promoting peaceful coexistence with other adherents of faith and not through violence or coercion.” culled from dailytrust newspaper, 30-june-2013
