National Conference: My take is that the representations at the conference is disproportionate. My primary constituency, YOUTHS/YOUNGER GENERATION is not fairly represented. Yes, we need the experience of the old ones but the ENERGY of the youth cannot be jettisoned. The youths have lots of future ahead of them. Fellow youths once again, our future is being negotiated on our behalf. Papas and Mamas of 50+ have spent better part of their years in merriment.They enjoyed free education, easy assess to good jobs, some have enjoyed government largesse and some are still doing so now. Where are the youths to bring to discussion compelling and burning issues of unemployment vis-a-vis the rate of graduates our schools produce yearly, infrastructural decay in our education sector, security breakdown, poverty, neglect of our agricultural sector, local govt autonomy for effective governance at the grassroot where critical mass of Nigerians inhabit, etc. I am afraid, critical mass of Nigerians of ages 18-45 are not fairly represented!
