National Conference has started talking about inclusive growth but he is silent over discriminatory policy adopted by the present government during the last 6 years to Jammu region. It was during the regime of Omar Abdullah government that different yardstick was adopted for Jammu and Kashmir regions. Instead of treating Jammu and Kashmir regions equally, Omar Abdullah government treated Jammu region differently as compared to Kashmir valley. What to say of empowering Jammu region equally, Omar Abdullah government even adopted discriminatory approach towards human issues. Glaring example is an acid attack victim of R,.S. Pura. An acid attack victim of Kashmir valley was provided all benefits by the state government but the similar victim from R.S. Pura area of Jammu was not given the same benefit. During election campaign NC is speaking about inclusive development but he has to reply why Omar Abbdullah governmet has created hurdles in extending 73rd amendment of Indian Constitution to Jammu and Kashmir to strenghten Panchayati Raj Institutions. Why daily wagers and contractual employees of Jammu region were not regularisd while their counterparts in Kashmir valley was regularised.
