National Day of Remembrance for Murdered Victims The death of a loved one is never easy and it is an extremely difficult experience to deal with. When a murder occurs there is much anger, frustration, pain and grief which is intensified that someone took the life of your family or friend. In 2007, Congress designated Sept 25 as the Day of Remembrance for Murdered Victims. The Annual National Day of Remembrance for Murdered Victims gives us all the opportunity to remember our loved ones that were taken from us through homicide and to honor their memory. Ms. Daniels support group is called Angel Hearts and is supporting parents of murdered children. Her support group meets 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month at the Sheriff’s Office. The National Day of Remembrance for Murdered Victims is dedicated to Murdered Victims and their families. No one wants their father, mother, sister, brother, aunt, uncle, cousin, niece, nephew or friend to be forgotten. This is a national day to recognize and remember that “Loved One “along with millions of others throughout the nation. Be a voice and a presence for that person that was taken from you and left that void in your life. Join us on September 25, 2014 at 7 pm at 401 Walton Way. Please bring a candle and /or a balloon.
