National Dialogue Can End Torture, Atrocities - Opinion On Wednesday 26 June, the world commemorated the United Nations international day in support of victims of torture. Apart from few celebratory sessions hosted by civil society organisations, the day passed largely unnoticed in Kenya and with it a missed opportunity to interrogate torture as a form of gross human rights violations in the country.
