National Forecast from Met Éireann. 12 November 2013 04:40 Today A dry, bright start to Tuesday. It will stay dry for much of the country today, but some showers will affect coastal parts of the north and northwest. Highs of 8 to 12 degrees in moderate west to northwest winds. Tonight It will become cold tonight under long clear spells. Temperatures will fall to between 0 and 4 degrees in light winds. A widespread ground frost will develop and it will be coldest in the south and southeast of the country. Tomorrow Cool and frosty at first on Wednesday but southerly winds will strengthen during the morning, with cloud and rain pushing into the west coast later. Wet and windy conditions will then spread eastwards during the afternoon and evening. Highs of 8 to 11 degrees tomorrow in fresh to strong southwest winds. Outlook Outlook is for a good deal of dry weather through the week, but there will be some rain at times over the weekend. The last of the rain will clear away overnight on Wednesday but strong northwest winds will push showers into parts of the west and the north. Temperatures will fall to between 4 and 7 degrees. Thursday will be a cool, fresh day with fresh to strong northwest winds. Showers will continue to affect parts of the north and northwest but for the rest of the country it will remain largely dry and bright. Highs of only 9 to 11 degrees. It will be dry overnight with lows of 1 to 5 degrees, with a touch of frost in parts of the south and southeast. Friday will be mostly dry apart from some showers along the west coast. It will be another fresh day with highs of 9 to 11 degrees. Friday night will stay dry too, with no frost. The weekend looks like being quite unsettled with spells of rain and drier weather.
