National Forecast from Met Éireann. 13 November 2013 22:22 Today Cool and blustery overnight with clear spells and occasional showers. The showers will be frequent across the north and west, but will be isolated over the midlands, south and east. Westerly winds will be strong and gusty before easing a little towards morning. Minimum temperatures 5 to 7 degrees. Tomorrow Tomorrow will be cool and bright with some sunny breaks and most areas will be dry. Any showers will be isolated and confined mainly to coasts of the north and northwest. Top temperatures 9 to 11 degrees. Outlook Headline : Some rain over the weekend; then turning much colder next week with some wintry type showers. Apart from a little drizzle near northwest coasts, Friday night will be dry and mild in a moderate southwest breeze. While much of the south and east will stay dry for daylight hours on Saturday, rain will spread from the west as the day goes on, though amounts will be small overall and itll stay mild. Rain will clear and Saturday night will be mostly dry though quite cold with a slight ground frost inland as winds fall light. Sunday will be a bright and dry day with sunny spells and light winds, but it will be cool. More rain will spread countrywide on Sunday night, before clearing to noticeably colder weather with blustery showers for Monday as winds veer northwest and freshen. Tuesday and Wednesday of next week will be very cold with widespread blustery showers. The showers will be frequent in the west and north - many turning wintry especially over high ground with falls of hail and sleet, along with sharp or severe night frosts. Sea Area Forecast Gale Warning West to northwest winds will reach gale force overnight on all Irish coastal waters and on the Irish Sea. Winds will reach strong gale on coasts from Slyne Head to Malin Head to Carlingford Lough and on the north Irish Sea. Weather: Frequent blustery showers overnight, but more scattered later. Visibility: Moderate to poor in showers, but mostly good later. Forecast for coasts from Carlingford Lough to Roches Point to Slyne Head and the south Irish Sea Wind: West to northwest force 7 to gale force 8, decreasing west force 5 to 6 during the day. Weather: Scattered showers overnight, but mainly fair tomorrow. Visibility: Moderate to good. Warning of heavy swell: On west and north coasts.
