National Gymnastics Day is next weekend! In honor of National Gymnastics Day, TNT Kid’s Fitness & Gymnastics (TNT) is hosting a free event: Open Gymnastics Day for “All Children of All Abilities” • Open to the public & all children ages 5-14 • Where: TNT Kid’s Fitness and Gymnastics • When: September 20th 2:00-5:00pm • Three one hour sessions- at 2:00pm, 3:00pm, & 4:00pm The event will honor the sport of gymnastics and provide opportunity for all children to play and experience an exciting afternoon highlighting the benefits of gymnastics and fitness through structured stations. The goal for every athlete will be to complete or attempt every station and fill out a gymnastics punch card. Each station will encompass the different aspects of gymnastics that benefit each child’s fine & gross motor skills, muscular & cardio endurance, and most importantly send a consistent message of the significance of staying active. Stations are tiered so there will be novice, intermediate, and advanced challenges. Stations Include: Rings, Rock Wall, Run and Jump into the Pit, Tumbling, Pull Ups, Handstand, Trampoline Jumps and Balance Beam All participants will leave feeling like champions. The first 250 participants will receive a medal. All children will receive a healthy recipe, and a coupon to return to TNT for one of our numerous open gyms throughout the year.
