It is an in depth and emotional look at the highly controversial multi-billion dollar world of commercial dog breeding. It is told through the perspective of breeders and rescue workers. Lily lived the majority of her life in a commercial kennel. She was purchased at a dog auction for twenty dollars and found her forever home. Because of the way she lived, and her premature death, Lily became the driving force behind National Mill Dog Rescue.
