Harris, Jr, founding president of the National Network In Action, an international civil and human rights organization, and assistant pastor of New Light For New Life Church of God will be addressing the community regarding vicious attacks and derogatory e-mails received by Rev. Dr. Karen Crozier. After publicly advocating for African American and Latino teachers to teach African American Studies and Latino Studies, respectively, Rev. Dr. Crozier has been called a racist and disgusting. Other comments include such statements as calling her a racist cunt and an ugly racist big mouth pig who has shared ridiculous racist shit. The educational degrees she has earned were attributed to some sort of race grade redistribution that could not be achieved on her own intellectual skills and strength. Rev. Dr. Harris strongly feels some of the harsh negative reaction to Rev. Dr. Croziers advocacy is being driven by an attitude of white supremacy, and due to the overt language of disdain, he is concerned about Rev. Dr. Croziers safety. Rev. Dr. Harris will be contacting the Fresno Police Department to file a police report on the various individuals in hopes of creating a safe space for a civil, humane, restorative, and just dialogue on the Districts hire at Gaston Middle School.
