National Policy Dialogue Conference on "Perspectives for Improvement of Social Sciences and Humanities ind Bosnia and Herzegovina" 25 June 2013, 10.30h University of Sarajevo, Rectorate - Senate Hall Obala Kulina Bana 7/II, Sarajevo Bosnia and Herzegovina The goal of the conference is not only to constructively discuss obstacles in Bosnia and Herzegovina social sciences and humanities, but also to present possible solutions for resolving these main obstacles. Furthermore the conference aims to ensure a joint agreement with interest groups (ministries, universities, researchers) on further activities to improve the status of social sciences and humanities in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Social sciences and humanities in Bosnia and Herzegovina are currently facing the following main obstacles: - Insufficiently developed personnel potential in scientific-research work, - Insufficient financial support, - Relatively low participation in international research projects.
