National Rangers Ministry Camp (NRMC) may just change your life! The following is a testimony of a leader who attended several years ago. There is still time to register for NRMC in Forestburg, NY June 6-8 (next Friday-Sunday). You can even just show up to camp if you cant fax your application to the National Office in the next few days. This was an AWESOME weekend and I am so glad I was able to make it. Thanks to the staff for their commitment and sacrifice to both the boys and the men of the Royal Rangers ministry and to our families. This was a life changing weekend for me that I so desperately needed. Not just for the Royal Rangers ministry, but for my family, relationship with our heavenly Father, my work and my entire life. So much healing has begun and I am continuing to experience Gods awesome power as I have been inspired and challenged to go on this awesome adventure. I must tell you, I was at a crossroads and had been very discouraged. I have to be honest and tell you that I was thinking about leaving the Royal Rangers ministry and even my church prior to this weekend. I believe I was just going through the motions. My wife had been praying for me and had encouraged me to continue with this training and see what God really wants me to do. I was even at the point that I was starting to pull away from her and everything & everyone else because I was so frustrated. When I walked through the front door, she already knew that something had changed. She said she already prays for me every night, but the Holy Spirit had really pressed upon her to stop what she was doing and pray for me on Saturday night. I stopped on the way home & bought her these really lovely earrings. When the sales person behind the counter asked me who I was buying them for, I was almost in tears telling them they were for the most beautiful and loving woman in the world- my wife of almost 20 years. I just wanted to encourage you guys to keep doing what you are doing with these training sessions. Especially for guys like me. I know that things might not change or be fixed overnight, but now I have a good game plan and the tools to make it happen. This training would be great training for pastors who may have or considering having a Ranger ministry in their church and even if they didnt, it would be great training for them. You are also right that I now have made friendships that will last a lifetime. Royal Rangers is an incredible brotherhood that is much needed in this world today. Anyway, there is so much more I could share but I just wanted to drop you a note, while it was on my heart, to thank you and all of your staff. You cant even begin to imagine how much I appreciate your service. Thank all of your staff for praying for all of us men before coming to camp. It made all the difference.
