National Sewing Month Day 24 . . . Tip #24 When working with a twin needle, if you have trouble with skipped stitches or broken thread, you may be threading the needles incorrectly. Place the two spools on your machine’s spool pin so that one thread rolls off the front of the spool and the other rolls off the back. Thread them as one through your machine, then insert the thread from the right (or bottom, if you have an upright spool pin) spool into the right needle and the thread from the left (or top) spool into the left needle.
