National Tree Day Sunday 28 July We need You! Wagga Wagga City Council is celebrating National Tree Day and we need your help. Grab your warm gear, gloves gumboots and shovels and do your bit to help the environment by planting a tree, shrub or groundcover on National Tree Day, Sunday 28 July. Where? This year’s National Tree Day community planting will take place at Wagga District Kart Racing Club between 10am – midday, Sunday 28 July. The site is on the corner of Tasman and Edison Roads. The event will be sponsored by Thomas Bros Toyota. Anybody who comes along to help will also be offered a Free BBQ lunch.
