National elephant day today. God sure created a masterpiece when He dreamed up elephants. Fascinates me as I learn more about them. What incredible animals. We are indeed blessed. Today is a ponder day as I begin to work on the new book. Looking for the best beginning is always tricky and so important. I have written notes, and notes on the computer and pictures in my mind. The year is 1906. Unless I wait and start it in the Spring of 07. Next step. Find out what was happening in the world that will impact Blessing. And especially what was happening in ND. Ponder. Ponder. I have another lemon cucumber to pick. And more tomatoes. My bean plants are really liking this heat and growing like crazy. Next year I am planning on using my two raised beds for garden. Hopefully we can reframe them as the boards are wearing out, especially at all the corners. I grumble until I realize W built them 13 or 14 years ago. And the rose trellis is being held up by the roses I think. How are you doing with living in the moment---the NOW? Any adventures to share? Our God of the NOW wants us to be close to Him. Think about that. Our God who created the universe, lives in us and pleads for us to come close to Him. To let Him love us and take care of us. I hope we all get away from the ME do it syndrome/habit/attitude. First step is always awareness and He will even help with that. Like WOW! What a deal. Love and hugs to all.
