Native Vegetation Removal at Macedon Lodge, Tucketts Road, Mt Macedon Via Alexandra clare I received this email today from a friend. So apparently and I have not seen it with my own eyes yet but will tomorrow, the proprietors of Macedon Lodge((Racing celeb) are at it again, and yesterday started removing more native vegetation. I am told that it is important to drive down Zig Zag road to actually see the devestation and removal of our native vegetation. Well I will tomorrow and will take pics. This is legally wrong and against the law. It is up to us the public to do something about people like this. They think they are above the law. Lets do something about it. Not just say it is wrong. Please help. I am told too that calls for help from Council’s enforcement officers drew a blank – it seems no action would be taken because of the costs of trying to stop removal. Can you please send emails and / or call councillors and ask them to take this matter up – firstly to stop it, and secondly to investigate and take action against the removal of vegetation.
