Finally, my beautiful lady, on behalf of you and your beloved grandfather, I did it. I was so fortunate to meet a man, Barry, who had known Frank before his death. He described him, with much fondness, as crazy in war, and crazy in life. How fortunate are we that this young man, no older than 20/21, going against Army regulations, was crazy, foolhardy, but most of all, utterly courageous. He saved the lives of every man there that day. Including your Pop. With Frank Partridge, I would never have had your beautiful soul in my life. And my much loved and cherished grandchildren, Daisy and Phoenix. Lest we forget
