Natural mechanics: There is a great irony in the development of technology, mainly that most inspirations for development come from the replication of nature itself. The robobirds have come a long way since the ornithopters and feistos seagull of a few years ago. Amazing to see - but it does raise the question of blind progress.. Are we replicating nature because we somewhere deep down the species is averse to natural change and o seeks to control it - or is our unchained intrigue just a blind drive towards novelty, with the destruction of the natural world with its symbiotic complexity just an unintended consequence of boredom and true lack of creative imagination in the greater population? Who knows, one thing is definite.. We seem to be engineering ourselves out of existence.. Fascinating to watch though..!!
