Let me give you a break down of what I think happened (remember I know everything). Mugumya was kidnapped in Kampala, taken to a safe house, likely Kololo, Makindye, Mbuya or Kireka. He was tortured to extract a confession from him. He has been too unwell to be shown to us and we will likely not see him until the scars are gone. He was subsequently taken to DRC to lend credit to the stupid dumb allegation that he is a terrorist. The intense pressure we have put on the government using social media has made them realise that we were going to burn the country down if they killed Mugumya.. Come on, the timing was horrible. This was revealed by Brig Muhindo Akili, the commander of the North Kivu province in DRC, during a press briefing at Kasindi, a town on the DRC-Uganda border. This was after a security meeting between Uganda and DRC officials that discussed sharing information about the region, evaluating security situation in the region and verifying intelligence reports. “It is true we are holding Sam Mugumya, for illegal entry into our country,” said Brig Muhindo, adding: “He entered DRC through a panya route in Butogota on the Uganda side, using pseudo names as William Katembo Mukiga.” He said Mr Mugumya would later be flown to Kinshasha, where he might be held for a month, pending investigations. Brig Muhindo added that Mr Mugumya was arrested together with other Ugandans although he did not reveal their names for security reasons.
