Nature’s Connection A friend and a lesson in a most splendid connection Your supporter and dependent, the essence of life in infinite variations Vast oceans filled with commotion and color Huge trees that stand to watch over like older brothers Flowers and fields of green grass Mankind has an innate kin to the forest and animals of every kind Since ages back the earth has fed us and led us to a lavish lifestyle Of everything we ever dreamed and more So tell me what we are killing our mother for Paving a paradise for the right price, turning the planet into a problem like lice Nature is magic, no need to try and fully understand it Let it be a mystery and just enjoy the beauty Observe the wind as it rustles the leafs, and the birds sing its symphony Simply a scene to see, the forces of creation Simply amazing, it’s crazy when you come across a situation so breathe taking The effect is an exhilarating feeling like icy mountain peaks Thick green jungle or tropical beaches with white sand as far as a man can walk Hot weather, exotic smells and colorful fruit Nature holds a bounty beyond any pirate’s loot Fresh mangoes, guavas, coconuts and papaya, one can never try them all From the bamboo forests of Japan, to the dry desert lands of India Majestic rivers and sacred places for peace and meditation I grew up with the wilderness three sixty No pavement, just moss, ferns, and trees to get lost in till the sun sleeps Run through the trails and eat blackberries, apples, or cherries at a friend’s orchard Natural words for the islands and suburbs To remember the bliss in what exists outside the living room The tapping rain across a tin roof, or booming thunder from a dark storm drawing near Then tomorrow comes a new day for Gia’s energy to display itself, however she pleases Unmatched, unsolved and understood by only the enlightened few Science fails to grasp the spirit behind the action The ether unseen like astral beings all around Nature is beyond perfection, from the most intricate designs on a seashell To the extravagant birds of paradise with their exotic dances and colors beyond imagination At this very second the powers are progressing, creating and evolving Souls in every form on the wheel of eighty four, perhaps to find a perfect saint Then break free to heavenly realms or remain on the sphere Here while the words become clear like blue skies after gray After the way I explain this you might go out for a walk in the park Embark on a hike or ride your skate to the lake trail so you can release like G and E It’s free and all are welcome, go exploring, bring no worldly thoughts Just become one with the essence Free your mind in the jungle or tropical reefs Deprivation becomes a hindering factor To lose this chapter might make you miss out on inner happiness and laughter So go outside and feel the love of your own self, in a connection lost by labels Lost by material blindfolds, holding you down like mental shackles Forget it all for awhile and run into the freedom of nature The creator, the sustainer of life, the savior, the container of us all Learn to love and respect nature, the mother, the everything..
