Nauru is truly in the midst of transformation. New construction everywhere, new shops and restaurants have opened every few meters along the road and their are lots of new people on the island. The phosphate mining has resumed, rock quarries are open supplying other pacific islands with materials via barges, and, of course, the asylum processing centre for the Australian government is growing daily. Most observers would look at for the obvious and natural explanations. But I know a secret; God is honoring the sacrificial sowing of His people. The Church in this nation has spread the Gospel of the Kingdom and the fire of revival with six major outreaches in the past two years. They have paid their own way, raising their own funds to send 50-60 missionaries at a time to Kiribati, The Marshall Islands, Kosrae and The Solomon Islands. Out of their poverty they have sown bountifully. This whole nation is being blessed so that God can now bless His faithful people here.
