Naveed Mahbub, a business executive and well-known stand-up comedian, has removed me from his Facebook after I told him that one of his posts (https://facebook/naveed.mahbub/posts/10153176441640663) comparing Israels Gaza massacre with someone boozing on cannabis (গাঁজা) was distasteful. He had initially confronted me, saying that it was a cynicism [that I didnt get], but eventually ended up removing me from the list, though it was actually him years ago who had added me as a friend, and I had accepted because I maintain a yes to all Laboratorians policy. Though many people consider Facebook as a light medium, I find being in here to be actually a learning experience sometimes - particularly at such moments when people like Mr. Naveed Mahbub, desperate to pose nice, welcoming and funny, happen to hold nothing but a very ordinary attitude with apparently no tolerance to difference :)
