Navrongo Women dying on WAJIA road. Wajia is a tomato farming area in Burkina Faso were the women from the southern part of Ghana come during the season with big tracks to buy and retail in the South. It has become like an annual ritual not less than 3 and above of these tracks to fall and kill not less than 10 of these our poor women most of whom are young,married or mothers. The revelations of what take these ladies there,what they do there and what happens when they return with their Jackpot is pathetic,insulting and heart breaking. They claim they go in other to take care of their children,it is always sad when you see them hanging on these dangerous tracks and when you meet them on their return in drinking bars like the prisons canteen and their chats; A laga a ti se a zange a di mo naa... with plenty beer and goat heads. Let me not tell you how those who make it big there make it. I will meet the MCE as i beg you to join me with your suggestions to fight this frustrating business of our women.
