Near death experiences really put things into perspective sometimes. Driving along a divided road heading away from base, glance down to see what song was on, look up. Huge bleeding Truck heading my way. Driving into opposing traffic and straddling two of the three lanes....and hes heading right for me. I have no idea if he even realizes it. Swerve out of the way on reflexes. No horn from me. No horn from him. He just keeps going as if no big deal. Seriously, if i looked up any later Id have gotten A: a new car, b: Time off work, C: a possible funeral.
