Near-record car count for Track Championship Sprintcar Association of NSW November 20, 2014 A near-record car count will take to the Valvoline Raceway circuit this Saturday night, November 22, for the fifth round of the Sprintcar Track Championship. A total of sixty cars will do battle for supremacy and such is the talent in the field, seven drivers from the top ten finishing positions will be at Valvoline Raceway this weekend. The field is led by Australian Champion, David Murcott who returns to Valvoline Raceway after a last start fourth place finish late last season. There is also the regular NSW guns including last start winner, Sam Walsh, Track Championship front runners Danny Reidy, Marty Perovich, Max Dumesny, James Thompson and Toby Bellbowen. The most dominant driver of the season to date, Jamie Veal also returns to try and win his sixth A-Main in a row. Steven Lines makes a welcome return to Sydney as does Queenslander Bryan Mann with both looking for strong results. The SANSW also welcomes Tasmanian Callum Zizek as a first time racer with the club. Racing will once again consist of time trials, a non-qualifiers, four heat races, two dashes and a D-Main if needed, C-Main, B-Main and the 30 lap A-Main. Going into Saturday night, the track championship points are very close and with positions swapping every week, it makes it a fascinating scenario.
