Nearly eight years ago, Mike Nuanes of Denver, Colorado, lost his Shih Tzu puppy...in late October, the dog, presumed to have been stolen out of his owners backyard, reappeared thousands of miles away in Georgia...older, thinner and covered in fleas, reported Thursdays 9 News. A good Samaritan found the little dog, named Jordan, and brought him to the Fulton County Animal Shelter in Atlanta - a microchip in Jordans body led the staff to the bedraggled dogs true owner. Nuanes was shocked to get a phone call letting him know that his missing pup had been found; Nuanes told 9 News: After I picked my jaw up off the ground, I asked, Is he a little chocolate fellow? Jordans owner quickly bought a plane ticket, and new dog supplies, and flew out to retrieve his long-lost friend in person. Today, Jordan is back home in Denver and he is settling in with the other dogs at the home. Nuanes stated: They accepted him right in and theyre getting closer to him, Life is good at the Nuanes household for the dogs.
