Necessary rant: I just discovered our house is up for sale for $10,000. Bank of America has been threatening foreclosure on our home since April of last year. Leesa Johnson has made umpteen phone calls, many of them not returned, and office visits in attempts to keep her home. BofA consistently avoided communication throughout the process of foreclosure, and it appears eventually ignored all paperwork and communication in order to take it and turn around and market it for $10,000!!! The original loan was for over $50,000. I cannot wrap my brain around why its easier for them to sell someones home out from under them for very little profit than it is to TALK to their customers, but I am truly disgusted by this experience. Especially knowing this is happening all over America... Leesa fought so hard! I wish there were more I could do to stop this from happening to people...
